The start for Maserati will be on July 13. The start will be from Point Fermin’s lighthouse in San Pedro, Los Angeles, and the finish line in front of the Diamond Head Volcano in Oahu, Hawaii (close to Honolulu).

The next programmes

Two days after the arrival, Maserati was taken to the KKMI boat yard in Richmond, San Francisco to start the necessary maintenance after more than 14000 miles at sea.

Here is a list of the main items on the joblist:

• The rig will come out and there will be a full check of the tube and the spreader. All steel and titanium parts will be dye-tested and the final repair on the hole of the mast will be completed.
• The keel will be taken apart for a full check and the bushings will be replaced.
• Full inspection of the shrouds and the covers will be changed.
• The rudders will come apart for inspection.
• The winches will all undergo a full service.
• The hull will have a new anti-fouling.

The next programmes for Giovanni Soldini and Maserati
In July, Giovanni Soldini and all of Maserati‘s team will take part in the Transpac Race (http://www.transpacrace.com/), the ocean race from Los Angeles to Honolulu open to monohulls and multihulls, with a delayed start from July 8, depending on the classes participating. The start for Maserati will be on July 13.
