Giovanni Soldini and Maserati Multi7 70′s Team set sail from Cherbourg at dawn on May 25th, destination: Palma De Mallorca.
During the night between May 26th and 27th, Soldini said from aboard: «The first part of the delivery was quite harsh: sailing close-hauled with 25/30 knots in the English Channel is a tough nut to crack! Once we passed Ouessant, the wind started getting lighter until this afternoon, when we had no wind at all for 6 hours. We took the opportunity to dry and relax a bit. It looks like until Cape Trafalgar, in southern Spain, we will sail with 12 knots of tailwind.»
