At 20 UTC, 5 hours after the start, Maserati Multi70 is sailing towards west, north of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, chasing less than 5 miles away its direct opponents: Snowflake and Zoulou, who are proceeding side by side at about 26 knots.
Giovanni Soldini: “Shortly after the start we ended up in a wind hole, south of Lanzarote, and unfortunately we caught a bit of a delay on our opponents but now, with 12 knots of wind, we are going at 29 knots and we are catching up!”
