Maserati Multi 70‘s Team is ready to set sail for the third and last race of the Caribbean Multihull Challenge: the two 70’s will set sail from Grand Case, Saint Martin, around 10.50 local time (14.50 UTC, 15.50 Italian time). The third competitor in the ocean trimarans class, Shockwave, won’t participate in the third race, due to the damages suffered to the boom in yesterday’s race.
For today’s race the course selected it 47 miles long: Maserati Multi 70 and Argo will set sail towards Anguilla, they will turn around Blowing Rock and cross the Anguilla Channel towards a mark near Port Galisbay, they will then go back for the last time to Blowing Rock, from which they will set course towards Fourchue Island, before going back to the finish line off Simpson Bay.
At the end of the day there will be a final prize giving ceremony of the three days of racing.
