At 16.30 local time (20.30 UTC, 21.30 Italian time), 5 hours after the start of the 12th edition of the RORC Caribbean 600, Maserati Multi 70’s Team and their competitors reached the mark off Barbuda, from which they will head South-West to Nevis.
The three 70′ trimarans took the lead of the fleet that set sail from Antigua right away, but they’re proceeding slowly, because of the light wind blowing between the islands, less than 5 miles from each other: Argo, in first place, is sailing at 5.1 knots, followed by PowerPlay at 7.6 knots and by Maserati Multi 70 at 2.5 knots.
