At 15 UTC (16 Italian time), Maserati Multi 70 is sailing north-west at 17.2 knots. A few dozen miles ahead, PowerPlay is going at 19.1 knots and Argo at 13.4. An important passage is getting closer for the MOD 70s.
Giovanni Soldini explains from aboard:”Challenging night, but we’re very happy: we noticed that we sail really fast with tailwinds. In the next 24 hours we will pass the cold front and that will be a crucial passage: the first one to catch the north-westerly winds will gain a big advantage. So, full speed ahead!”
