At the beginning of the twenty-ninth day of navigation, Maserati Multi 70 is located off Cap Blanc in Mauritania. After passing Dakar and the westernmost tip of the African continent, the trimaran had been able to accelerate. From 15° to 20°N: it means more than 300 miles in latitude despite a difficult night fighting again with light and unstable winds that forced the crew to make several tacks to get closer to the coast once again. According to weather forecasts, after this transition and going further North, Maserati Multi 70 should find stronger winds and accelerate up to the Canary Islands, a little more than 400 miles away.
At the 8.51 UTC standings, the advantage is 1.303 miles, 2.138 are missing until the finish line.
