Maserati Multi 70 left London last night to go to La Trinité-sur-Mer, in the south of Brittany, before the arrival of a strong storm on the English Channel and the Atlantic. A challenging delivery trip as Giovanni Soldini tells us: “It’s crazy sailing. We left the Thames at around 2 in the morning. As soon as we entered the English Channel, we hoisted gennaker and full mainsail and we rushed towards Ouessant. We have to turn the tip of Brittany as quickly as possible because tomorrow morning there will be a reinforcement of the wind always blowing from the East and then there will be a further worsening. The temperature is freezing cold, it snowed for most of the night and the morning. However, everything is fine on board, at around 14 pm we passed Cherbourg and we are 140 miles from Ouessant.”
