After three months in the boatyard in La Trinité-sur-Mer, the trimaran is finally back in the water. During these months, the Team worked to bring Maserati Multi 70 back to its flying asset, as well as to carry out all the necessary maintenance work after many miles of sailing.
The World Sailing Speed Record Council has ratified the sailing record from Hong Kong to London established between January 18th and February 23rd 2018 by the trimaran Maserati Multi 70.

Maserati Multi 70 left London last night to go to La Trinité-sur-Mer, in the south of Brittany, before the arrival of a strong storm on the English Channel and the Atlantic.
Just a weekend in London and it’s already time to leave for Maserati Multi 70. The departure is scheduled for Monday February 26th in the evening for a circumnavigation of Brittany before the arrival of bad weather, as Giovanni Soldini explains: ”We have identified a weather window to get out of here and go to the Trinité-sur-Mer.
They have done it. At 13h20’26” UTC, Maserati Multi 70 crossed the Tea Route arrival line between Hong Kong and London passing under the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge.
Maserati Multi 70 crossed the finish line in London, under the Queen Elizabeth II bridge, at 13.20′ 26″ UTC on February 23rd, after 36 days, 2 hours, 37 minutes and 2 seconds of sailing, conquering the Tea Route record, from Hong Kong to London.
At 9.30 UTC, Maserati Multi 70 passed the Goodwin Sands, large sand banks extended off Dover, the trimaran is heading north and sets out to turn west towards South Edinburgh Channel in the Thames estuary.
