Jason Carroll’s American MOD 70 Argo crossed the finish line at 20.50 52″ local time on Wednesday July 17th (6.50 UTC, 8.50 Italian time on Thursday July 18th), followed by Peter Cunningham’s English MOD 70 PowerPlay, at 21.21 50″ local time (7.21 UTC, 9.21 Italian time). The two MOD 70s didn’t beat the multihull record, set in 2017 by ORMA 60 Mighty Merloe (4 days, 6 hours, 32 minutes and 30 seconds).
