The MOD 70 Mana, Maserati Multi 70’s twin, also with an Italian flag, crossed the finish line at 20.51 35” local time (18.51 35” UTC), 15 minutes after Maserati Multi 70.
The multihull record, set by Soldini in 2016 aboard Maserati Multi 70, remains undefeated: 2 days, 1 hour, 25 minutes and 1 second.
The Maserati Multi 70’s crew members who raced alongside Giovanni Soldini are Cédric Bader, Vittorio Bissaro, Lorenzo Bressani, John Elkann, Oliver Herrera Perez, Nico Malingri and Matteo Soldini.
Maserati Multi 70 and Mana set sail from Valletta, Malta, on Saturday October 17th at 12.10 local time (10.10 UTC) and they sailed anti-clockwise around Sicily, leaving Favignana, Pantelleria and Lampedusa to port.
