With just 20 miles to go to the finish-line, the Maserati Multi70 Team are on an adrenaline-fuelled gallop towards Marsamxett Harbour where they are expected to arrive in a couple of hours’ time. Conditions on the race route are stable compared to last night with Maserati Multi70 beating in a 20-knot SE.
The present Rolex Middle Sea Race multihull record (2 days, 11 hours, 29 minutes and 41 seconds) was set by Phaedo3 in the 2015 edition. The overall and monohull record (1 d, 23h, 55’ and 3”) has been held since 2007 by Rambler 88, the yacht currently leading the IRC 1 fleet.
