Maserati Multi70 continues her course towards the Caribbeans: at 12 UTC the Italian trimaran has covered more than half of the course and is still in the lead, chased by the competitors around 50 miles away.
Soldini explains from aboard: “It was a challenging night, with big waves and 26/28 knots of wind, difficult conditions to keep a good rhythm because the boat slams in the waves, going from 34 to 20 knots of speed, as if it had taken a wall on the nose. Despite this we did well, we are satisfied with the speed and the angle we are maintaining. On board everything’s good, and we keep going ‘a cannamorta’!”
